HORSHAM and District Soccer Club had a strong start to its round 14 clash with Ballarat Red in the Ballarat and District Soccer Association on Sunday.
The Falcons travelled to Ballarat and won the game 5-2.
It was a dominant opening 30 minutes by Horsham – the Falcons scoring four goals in the half and going into the main break with a comfortable lead. Young striker Noah Talbot scored the opener after just two minutes.
The second goal came after a penalty was called in Red’s 18-yard box.
Yohana Bimenyimana stepped up to take the spot kick and slotted the ball coolly in the bottom corner.
Bimenyimana doubled his tally on the 20th minute with a neat finish. Toby Riddell-Both ended the half with a splendid volleyed finish into the back of the goal. After the break, Horsham eased off the pedal and managed one goal through Jake Hinton. He dribbled the ball around the keeper and tapped it into the goals.
